Now that we have reached mid-April, it is time to get your crabgrass preventer down. We recommend Dimension Herbicide for a number of reasons:
If you have seed down, just wait until germination, then apply 2 weeks after germination. Even if crabgrass has come up, it should be small enough for the Dimension to work.
One more piece of advice, if you have a history of crabgrass problems, I would highly advise a 2nd application of Dimension 6 weeks from your first application, roughly Memorial Day. You will be crabgrass free thru summer that way.
Dimension activates after rainfall or watered in. Put on dry grass, water in.
