Now that rain has come, it is time to seed and fertilize
In most fall seasons, I would consider late October to be getting late. But due to the dry conditions before now, everyone needed to wait to renovate their lawns. Now that it has rained across the tri-state in ample amounts, I would move to get your yard work done. Go the extra mile with aeration or dethatching and add extra seed since its getting late. Don’t forget our Green Alliance Fertilizer 13-25-10 seed starter, too. It will help the old grass recover and make the new seedlings grow quicker. The more mature you can get the grass plants before winter, the better it will survive and thrive in the spring.
